Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Analysis is used to model fluid flows.  Deacon Engineers can provide a variety of CFD analysis services. From highly viscous fluids such as slurries through to low viscosity fluids as air.  CFD is used to model simple closed loop systems as well as complex multiphase transient systems.  MA Deacon Engineers has used CFD to determine the behaviour of fluids and the effects this has on our clients equipment. Computational Fluid Dynamics has been used to optimise systems to reduce flow restrictions, cavitation, and pressure transients. It can also result in a reduction in equipment operating costs.

We utilise tools such as OpenFOAM, Ansys Fluent and CFX to undertake our Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) studies

  • Single and multiphase flow analysis
  • Free surface flow analysis
  • Reacting flow analysis
  • Turbomachinery analysis
  • Multiphysics analysis
